Can Super Inu (SI), the Solana Meme Coin That Trump and Musk Both Hyped, Still Go Up?

On September 29, 2026, Trump signed an executive order telling U.S. federal agencies to stop writing “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” in official documents and start writing “Super Intelligence (SI)” instead.

Four days later, on October 4, Musk posted on X: “No more AI, SI, It’s better.”

Those two lines alone put the Solana meme coin called Super Inu (SI) — a Shiba Inu token — in the spotlight twice. On September 30 its market cap hit roughly $60.9 million, and within an hour of Musk’s post on October 4 it rose another 28% to climb back above $50 million.

I’m watching it not because it’s “strong,” but because it has something most others don’t: real, repeatable outside catalysts.

1. The Dog’s Story Is Real — but the “Official Endorsement” Is an Illusion

Let’s separate facts from marketing:

  • Fact: Trump’s September 29 executive order is real; the documents do rename AI as Super Intelligence / SI, and Musk’s October 4 post is verifiable. Every time the word “SI” is revived by a politician or an influencer, money flows into this coin. You can cross-check this against news flashes from Odaily, BlockBeats, and CoinAlert.
  • Fact: SI is a coin that actually trades — its main pool went live on September 21, 2026, on Meteora and Raydium, with a market cap around $23 million, 24-hour volume in the millions of dollars, and tens of thousands of holders.
  • Marketing: It is not a coin issued by Trump, and not a U.S. government project. The name merely matches the abbreviation “Super Intelligence”; the community is just riding the wave. Any claim that it is an “official token” is false.

Its mascot is a “superhero Shiba Inu” that fuses the AI narrative with the dog meme — the standard Solana meme playbook: it spreads on narrative, not on product.

2. Why I’m Watching It Early (Five Reasons Looking Forward)

I’m not saying it will definitely rise. I’m saying its catalyst structure is “renewable,” and here are five reasons:

  1. The catalyst repeats. AI policy is a continuing topic for this U.S. administration — executive orders, UN speeches, follow-up documents will keep surfacing the words “Super Intelligence / SI.” Each appearance is free exposure. That is what sets it apart from one-off hype coins.
  2. It has already been validated twice. On September 30 (Trump’s order) and October 4 (Musk’s post), money moved into it both times, showing the “name trends → coin moves” mechanism has worked twice on this token.
  3. It’s still alive, not zeroed out. Many new memes peak at launch and go to zero within days. SI fell from its ~$60.9M high on September 30 to about $18.5M on October 6 (-49%), but by the time I re-checked the data on October 10 it had recovered to about $23M — meaning buyers are still stepping in and working the price, not a dead pool.
  4. Multiple pools with real volume. Three Meteora pools plus one Raydium pool, with main-pool liquidity around $758K and combined liquidity above $1.8M; hundreds of real buy/sell transactions per day. That depth is healthy for a September launch.
  5. The narrative naturally rides the AI theme. In 2026, AI agents / superintelligence is one of crypto’s hottest stories, and SI stitches the “policy keyword” to the “dog meme,” keeping spread cost low.

3. Whether It’s Worth Trusting — Five Things I Watch (All Verifiable)

Don’t take my word for it; check the chain yourself:

  1. Is the word “SI” still trending? Every time Trump, Musk, or another influential figure mentions Super Intelligence again, SI gets another wave of market attention; if no one mentions it, the hype fades.
  2. **Can the market cap hold above $20M?** When I checked, it was about $23M, down about 62% from the $60.9M high. Holding above the prior low is what shows it has a real floor.
  3. Don’t let 24-hour volume collapse. The main pool now does hundreds of thousands to a few million dollars a day. When volume cuts off, the hype is gone.
  4. Are holders still growing? Multiple sources show tens of thousands of holders. Continued net growth means it’s not just insiders trading with each other.
  5. ⚠️ The freeze authority has not been revoked. I verified the Solana on-chain data directly: SI’s mint authority is revoked (supply locked at about 996 million, no more issuance), but the freeze authority has not been revoked. That means the team can, in theory, freeze the tokens in any wallet. This doesn’t mean the team will do it, but it’s a risk you must understand before buying — check it once on Solscan before deciding.

4. Three Scenarios (Projection, Not a Guarantee)

  • Bullish: AI policy keywords stay in the headlines + another big name mentions SI + overall meme sentiment warms, and the market cap returns to 40M–60M (about 2x from now). This is a return it has already demonstrated, not a fantasy.
  • Base: Trading between $15M and $30M with news-driven swings — each time the word SI is mentioned it pumps a bit, then falls back when the hype passes; no explosion, no zero.
  • Bearish: Outside catalysts fully stop, the meme season cools, and the freeze-authority risk gets priced in, drifting down to a few million or lower. This is the most common ending for meme coins.

5. What Exactly Is This Asset, and How Do I Hold It

SI is not a company, not a product, and generates no cash flow. Its value depends on one thing only: whether the market still cares about the words “Super Intelligence.” The price comes down to whether, in the next second, someone is still willing to pay for the meme.

My approach (for reference, not advice): only use money you can afford to lose to zero; verify the contract on Solscan before touching it; the active freeze authority is a real risk, so size your position so that even a total loss wouldn’t affect your life; set your exit price in advance, and don’t use “Trump will mention it again” as a reason to hold through losses.

⚠️ Warning about copycat tokens: On Solana there are at least three or four coins named “SI.” The one this article covers is Super Inu (SI), contract DEW9dSN6QpWyNthphCpMmAbZP1Q4cEKR9xQXAri98WDP. Two other common imposters:

  • 82ezhRLKdKwkSC9jkM3js1yf93VbmvLXNMPkBmompump (also “Super Intelligence,” but market cap only about $20K, nearly zeroed out)
  • 9aqmJjCnnMQv42TXLk921ceUkN35nea2QP969n1caqjj (claims on-chain stock yields, market cap about 1M–4M)

Before buying, compare the contract suffix character by character: DEW9d…98WDP. Don’t end up buying a different SI.

About Me & Tronsell.io

I’m Louise Lee, a researcher at tronsell.io. I’ve spent years in the crypto industry, mainly studying popular meme coins and using my own method to spot promising new coins early. Every day on my blog I publish “Meme Coin Origins” and “Meme Coin Forecasts,” walking ordinary readers through the on-chain data and stories I’ve looked at.

Tronsell.io is a platform focused on optimizing TRON on-chain fees: our self-operated energy pool steadily stakes about 400 million TRX, supplying about 3.7 billion energy and 35 million bandwidth, helping users and institutions cut transaction costs to the minimum when transferring, interacting, or launching meme coins on TRON. If you often issue tokens, transfer, or trade memes on TRON, energy rental saves real money.

Risk Disclaimer

Meme coins are extremely high-risk assets whose prices are driven by sentiment and attention. They have no business, no cash flow, and no sound valuation anchor. This article only records a research process and verifiable signals; it is not investment advice. SI’s freeze authority has not been revoked, so the team can, in theory, freeze any wallet — a real risk. And on Solana there are many copycat “SI” tokens, so before buying you must compare the contract DEW9dSN6QpWyNthphCpMmAbZP1Q4cEKR9xQXAri98WDP character by character. The data you see may have changed the moment I finished writing; before buying, rely on live on-chain data. How much you lose depends only on how much you bet.
